Coaching Kelly and Travis
Jess has worked in the financial world for nearly 17 years and values being able to live with intention through planning. She’s excited to meet Kelly and Travis where they’re at financially and help them create habits that last far beyond the Project Money setting.
Q: What’s the biggest thing that Project Money does for people?
A: Being able to dig more deeply into the psychological part of spending vs. just the budgeting piece, then working through the layers to truly change behaviors. I’m not here to judge, just to ask the questions so we can really get to the “why” and shift the mindset to fit goals.
Q: To you, what’s the one financial “must?”
A: Take time to reflect on how money is spent and what value it brings to your life! Looking back helps you create the best plan for moving forward and build sustainable financial habits.
Q: What’s something you wish you could tell everyone about finances?
A: Plan where your money will go, or the universe will help you spend it. Life has changed with buying at the click of a button! Ask for a receipt for every purchase, however small, then sort them weekly to compare planned and unplanned expenses.
Q: What do you love most about what you do at Summit?
A: Seeing people have that “Aha” moment when I’ve shared something that resonates. We build relationships on trust and personal guidance here. I get to share knowledge and resources to support members along their path, whatever that looks like, and celebrate their successes.
Q: Fun fact about you?
A: I have the best husband and most fabulous, blended family of six children, five grandchildren and two dogs. I LOVE to travel, especially to Puerto Rico to visit family.
