Jasmine's Journey:

Sam’s Club for the Win…

Now that school has started, Sam’s Club has been my shopping spot. Buying in bulk has decreased the number of trips at the grocery store by quite a bit. I already buy the little one pull-ups (potty training pants) and wipes every month. This is the main reason for getting a Sam’s Club membership because having two kids in diapers isn’t cheap. I plan on cutting that cost by finally being consistent with potty training both kids. My youngest child Jaylee seems more interested in training than my middle child. I’ve been researching ways to keep both kids interested in potty training which has been somewhat helpful. In general, cutting the cost or even eliminating the need to buy pull-ups would always be good for my savings.

Also, Sam’s has been very resourceful when it comes to stocking up on the kids’ school snacks and breakfast food. I’ve been keeping an eye on my oldest for packing too many snacks for one day of school. I really didn’t realize how much cheaper cereal is at Sam’s versus buying at the local grocery stores. I save over $3 on buying a double box of cereal than buying two boxes of the same cereal at another grocery store. Maybe $3 doesn’t seem that much, but I’m able to get a variety of cereal for less. Sam’s Club trips have been very convenient, easy and quick. Overall, I’ve been saving time in the grocery store and saving money by buying in bulk.
