Meet Michelle

Michelle | Madison West
Year in school:

Sophomore at Madison West

When I grow up I want to be:

Happy and content with who I am and the people I’ve surrounded myself with.

When I go to college, I would like to attend:

I’m not sure where I would like to study but I’d like to major in science.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I am a ballet dancer, participate in multiple church groups, play the viola in an orchestra and am in five school clubs (Public Health & Advocacy, Girl Up, High Schools Against Cancer, Leo Club and Key Club).

What’s your favorite subject?

When it comes to money, what would you like to learn?

I would like to learn how to make financial decisions, now and in college, that will help me save money.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

I would save it for college/the future and possibly study abroad in later years.

What is the most exciting thing you've ever done?

I climbed a glacier in Alaska with other kids from my church.

What have you done that really scared you?

I witnessed my grandmother break multiple ribs.

What excites you most about Project Teen Money?

I’m excited about the opportunity to learn about money from a reliable source before becoming financially independent.

“At the end of this challenge, I hope I feel more equipped to handle money in college.”
